ENG: At the beginning of April I went to the London Vintage Kilo Sale organized by Retrospect London. I discovered this event a year ago – you can read about it HERE. It’s a great place to purchase second hand vintage clothes – the next one will be held on 7th May in Islington. You get a bag at the entrance, which is then weight before you leave and you pay £15 per kilogram. As always, I’ve found many treasures browsing through the garments, which I’m showing you today. For now they are only on hangers, but I’m planning to start posting more outfits again.
One of the reasons I like second hand purchase, because it is less of a burden for the environment, re-using, up-cycling is a reasonable option even when it comes to clothing. The ones in Retrospect’s selection are always clean and in a very good condition, so it’s really worth the money. Plus they are vintage, meaning you won’t necessarily come across them at every corner like you would when buying from a seasonal collection – especially a high street one.

HU: Aprilis elejen ujra a Retrospect London altal szervezett Vintage Kilo vasaron jartam, ahol megint csak szamtalan kincset talaltam. Az esemenyt tavaly fedeztem fel – ITT olvashatsz rola es amikor tudok, elmegyek. A bejaratnal kapunk egy nagy zsakot, amit megtoltunk a levadaszott darabokkal, majd a kijaratnal ezt lemerik es kiszamoljak az arat – £15 egy kiloert, ami nagyon jo ar.
Azert is szeretek masodkezbol vasarolni, mert kevesbe terheli meg a kornyezetet – az ujrahasznositas nemcsak a butorok vilagaban opcio, hanem a divat teren is. Ezen kivul vintage darabokrol leven szo kicsi annak az eselye, hogy lepten-nyomon szembejon majd a ruhad, hogy mindenki olyat visel majd, ami ugye a szezonalis high street daraboknal altalaban mindig megtortenik.
Ma megmutatom mi mindent szereztem be a vasaron – egyelore csak a fogason logva, de hamarosan ujra tervezek outfit posztokat is kesziteni, s majd akkor felveve is lathatjatok oket.

Secondhand shops are fun and there are treasures to be found! Sometimes I find something I really like but not on my size, but it’s one-of-a-kind. I love the blouse in the second photo!
