ENG: The middle of March not only marked the beginning of Spring but also the London Design Week at Design Centre Chelsea Harbour. It’s a highly prestigious and unmissable event for designers, architects and styleseekers from across the globe.
While at the Design Centre I walked across the domes (there are 3), took some pictures, went into Porta Romana and discovered some beautiful lights and shades. I also saw the zoology inspired Siberian Tiger hand painted and flocked, surrounded by botanticals in the Centre Dome. Giorgetti and Ceccotti Collezioni took my breath away, Zimmer + Rohde overwhelmed me with patterns and colours, while Samuel & Sons amazed me with the endless possibility of tassels, borders, fringes and more. “A Limitless Selection of Beauty, Craftsmanship, and Color”, as they say, and it truly is, indeed.
Apart from the Design Week I also attended a lecture at the KLC School of Design by Anna Grace – Davidson. She is a world known interior designer and owner of Anna Casa Interiors, a traveler, a fashionista and the founder of the lifestyle and spiritual blog Grace Guru. I’ve found her a very inspiring woman, with a great sense of humour and implacable taste. It is always motivating to meet such successful women, to listen to their story, see the world from their perspective and to learn how they empowered themselves to become who they are.

HU: Marcius nemcsak a tavasz eljovetelet jelenti itt Londonban, hanem a London Dizajn hetet is, melyet iden is Europa egyik legnagyobb (ha nem a legnagyobb) dizajn kozpontjaban rendeztek meg, a Chelsea Harbourben. Ez a felettebb nivos esemeny szinte kotelezo minden dizajner, epitesz es stilusvadasz szamara.
Ottletem alatt csinaltam par kepet es magamba szivtam az enterior dizajn “illatat”. Maga a kozpont egy harom kupolabol allo epitmeny, mindharom kupolanak 3 emelete van, ezen kivul pedig tobb kulonallo epulet is reszet kepezi a dizajn centernek. Az Imperial Wharf allomas van hozza a legkozelebb (2 perc seta), itt talalhato egyebkent a Zaha Hadid altal tervezett Roca galeria is. A kornyeken talalhato meg a Lots, Fulham es King’s Road is, mind London neves dizajn pontjai (ha mar itt tartunk, akkor a Pimlico Road-ot is muszaj megemlitenem, bar ez joval inkabb Chelsea sziveben talalhato, a Sloan Square megallohoz kozel).

Aznap nemcsak a centerben voltam, hanem a mellette talalhato KLC dizajn iskolaban is, ahol reszt vettem az Anna Grace – Davidson altal tartott egyik eloadason. Anna egy vilagszerte sikeres enterior dizajner, az Anna Casa Interiors megalapitoja, ezen kivul vilagutazo, fashioniszta es blogger a Grace Guru oldalan. Egy nagyon sikeres, felettebb inspiralo no, kifinomult, klasszikusan modern izlese szamos kivaltsagos kliens tetszeset nyerte mar el. Az elso sorban ulve azt is megtudtam Annarol, hogy ugyanolyan emberbol van, mint barki mas, mert pont olyan szogben ultem, ahol ralattam izgalomtol teljesen remego kezere – egy eros, hatarozott uzletasszony is lehet “tremas”, sot, nekem ettol meg hitelesebbe valt a szemelye.
