ENG: Have you ever thought of training your willpower? That besides your body you might be focusing on your will, too? That failure of New Years resolutions could be partly blamed on weak willpower? Well, back in January I took part in the world’s first Willpower Workout organized by Whitworths (now available online HERE), a workout combining fitness, nutrition, hypnotherapy and sleep tips – to help Brits (and everybody else) maintain willpower.
As January comes to a close, research by Whitworths, a leading UK supplier of great tasting and healthier products, reveals that both our diets and gym memberships are going out of the window – with almost 10 million of us planning to give up our healthy living resolutions in the next few days as our willpower falters.

To be honest, I’ve never heard of Whitworths before, or perhaps just wasn’t paying attention, as after the event somehow I kept discovering them in the supermarkets. These Shots are a brand new thing, and they are yummy without guilt, believe me! My fave is the Orange & Chocolate seed, but they are all perfect for a little snack during the day, or added to breakfast oats for a happy morning.
The event itself was interesting, well-organized, everyone was so kind, even though the team had a long day doing sessions from early morning (my slot was at 6pm on a Friday evening). I do believe in the importance of both mental and physical health, that is why I accepted the invitation in the first place. Recently I have started a much healthier lifestyle myself, and was curious what the Willpower Workout had to offer. Besides getting a goodie bag with some delicious snack Shots, I actually gained a lot of knowledge, and rather than doing just a shallow PR shotout, I am telling you my honest opinion, and will be sharing the best tips I heard at the Willpower Workout.
