As Easter has arrived I though I’d publish a collection of my fav Pinterest bunny finds. I’m not really fond of Easter, but I wrote about it to several magazines in Hungarian, so why not share it here, too, in English.
You might know that I’m from Slovakia, where (alongside) Hungary we have very specific traditions around this time of the year. Easter is a celebration of the rebirth of nature, a joyful devotion in the name of fertility, when guys sprinkle girls with fresh water (or smelly patchouli), and in return they get coloured eggs (originally a red one). I remember to be woken up every Easter Monday by my father and brother pouring cold water underneath my blanket, and then “waiting” for the “sprinkles” all day long – oh, how much I hated it.
Anyway, I collected some cute and stylish ideas to enhance the bunny level of your home decor. You could have various cupcakes and honey cakes decorated with seasonal features, or spread the joy across the room with garlands. You could have a fun project with kids making bunny dolls – you cannot go wrong there, or bunny up your old picture frames across the living room. And if you need some more inspiration have a look at Fifi Lapin, the most stylish and fashionable couture bunny of all times.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH!
Everything has made me smile — Thank You! The Fifi Lapin Fashion Bunnies (bottom photos) are adorable and a few years ago, LeSportsac offered a line of “Artist In Residence – Fifi Lapin” bags. They brought a great deal of joy to their owners. XO

lovely inspiration! who doesn’t like bunnies?
I love reading about different Easter traditions, many of which are actually pre-Christian….this one with the cold water I doubt I would like though…I don’t like the cold:)
I loved them all but the little fabric models and the drawings are beyond words! Happy Easter x
