ENG: It was back in July when I discovered this place in Soho. We were walking with Tom when I saw this old radio in the window and lit up: “Hey, we have the very same at home”.
I immediately made some images from the outside, however they didn’t let me to take any inside. I contacted the owner and he was more than happy to let me discover his saloon. As it is a hair saloon. And a very cool one!
As it turns out James wanted to make this place different from what you can already find everywhere. I mean the minimalist most of the time boring and copycat interiors. He collected old and vintage pieces of furniture, decor elements and created a statement place. And they are not just stylish there, but also talented, so if in need of a haircut you know where to go. Btw, what is an old school treasure for Jon is pretty much still in use back at home.

HUN: Még júliusban történt, hogy egy belvárosi séta során megláttam egy kirakatot, ami tele volt ósdi dolgokkal. Izgatottan mutogattam a drágámnak, hogy “Nekünk olyan is van otthon és olyan is van!
Rögvest le is fotóztam az ablakot az öreg rádióval és szódásszifonnal együtt. Mivel az enteriőrről nem engedtek képeket csinálni felkerestem a tulajdonost és megbeszéltem vele egy találkozót.
James nagyon örült, hogy be akarom mutatni a fodrász szalonját és készségesen körbe is vezetett a helyen. Évekkel ezelőtt elkezdte már a régiségek gyűjtését – megjegyzem, ami neki vintázs ereklye, az nekünk még vígan működik otthon… Elég furán nézett, amikor ezt közöltem vele. Gondolthatta magában, hogy “ezt a szerencsétlent meg honnan szalajsztották”.
