Dear Fashionistas,
this time the story is about the radical change that hit the world including fashion after the WW1, when corsets disappeared, the Fair Isle pattern and short bobs made their entrance together with the new boyish look, called the Androgynous style. It is also about the Flapper style and the cloche hat, that swang through the decade. It was the time that Coco Chanel revolutionised fashion forever with her chic and the Little Black Dress, when Jeanne Lanvin told her stories with complex trimming and clear floral colours. Other great storytellers of the decade were Jean Patou, Salvatore Ferragamo and Andre Perugia.
Below is a selection of images that illustrates both the decade and its interpretation to the modern world of fashion. (Source: Pinterest)

Hope you enjoyed the story, let me know what you think.
Love,
Anami,xx
